  • Olympic & Paralympic Award Ceremony

    This years Awards Ceremony saw Karen Pickering MBE, Karen won 35 major championship medals and 38 National titles. She was 4 times World champion, broke 2 World Records and competed at 4 consecutive Olympic Games. She provided an inspirational speech and presented awards to SHSSN pupils who had won awards for Determination, Inspiration, Courage, Equality, Respect, Excellence and Friendship. The John Brennan Award this year went to a primary school pupils for the first time who was from Highfield, who encompassed all the Olympic and Paralympic to the highest level.

  • Boccia Competition

    Hillingdon Inclusive Boccia Competition saw a mix of both Mainstream Primary Schools and Special Schools competing to become Hillingdon Champion. The competition has grown from last year with 8 teams taking part. It was great to see pupils being given the opportunity to compete and have fun. This year see Belmore going through to represent Hillingdon in the next round of the LYG.

  • Table Cricket Competition

    SHSSN have had Hillingdon Musketeers into their schools to do fencing tasters with their Y2,3,4,5,6. It has given pupils the opportunity to have a taster in something they wouldn't normally get the opportunity to do. They will also get the opportunity to take part in a competition later in the school year.

    SHSSN Taekwondo Festival with Yiewsley UKITF club proved a great success. With pupils from Y2, Y3/4 and Y5/6 taking part in a variety of activities. Well done to all participant from Oak Farm Infants, Ryefield, Grange Parkand Yeading Junior.

  • Hillingdon Primary Panathlon

    Barnhill Leaders were fantastic at running the Inclusive Primary Panathlon this week. They helped lead pupils with SEND from 11 different primary school in various activities. They showed that have great leadership skills, making sure that all pupils had a fun, were included and had a positive experience of competition at Barnhill Community High School.

  • SHSSN Tasters (2020)

    So far we have had a range of tasters by working collaboratively with local community clubs. The tasters include rugby with Hillingdon Abbots, Taekwondo with Trenic TKD, Cricket with Middlesex Cricket and Orienteering with their NGB.
