Another Year of Achievement: Celebrating Student Success - 2025!

Barnhill Community High School is celebrating the success of its GCSE students again; with students achieving significantly above National Averages, securing our place firmly in the top 20% across England.

Our top grades of 7-9 continue to soar and are above National Average in all subjects across the curriculum, culminating with just under 30% of grades 7-9, a true reflection of the ambition and aspiration our students and families have.

Our brilliant results have continued to serve its community and opened up some fantastic opportunities for students to move into our sixth form, local colleges, apprenticeships and employment, carving the pathway as leaders of their future. Many of our students will return to Barnhill Sixth Form to study STEM or Humanities subjects, aspiring to gain entrance to some of the most prestigious universities at the end of year 13 in 2027.

Heads of Sixth Form, Ms Kichenside and Ms Ahluwalia, said:

“We are really pleased with the student outcomes this year. On the first day of registration, we have been busier than usual and have already secured 150 student places at Barnhill Sixth Form. It is a testament to the hard work and commitment of students, teachers and parents to achieve such great successes.”
