Students ask MP to provide more shelter for homeless children

John McDonnell MP Visits

The Year 9 Child Development students had as their guest on Thursday the 14th of June the Member of Parliament for Hayes and Harlington John Mcdonnell and the President of the National Education Union Kiri Tunks. The students have been working on a project 'Homelessness in the Borough' and made their presentations to both of them. They asked the MP to make presentation to Parliament to provide more shelters to Homeless people and they asked the President of the Union to bid to Government for Children and their families to be placed in homes so that the children can attend school. They have both made commitments in the class and were very impressed with the quality of work presented.
