Year 7 Admissions
If you wish to apply for a place for your child in Year 7 at Barnhill, you must complete an application form from your home Local Authority (where you pay council tax). You must also return the form to your Local Authority, not to the school.

Appeals will be heard and replied to within 10 days of receipt. If you wish to appeal, please complete the appeals form below and send it to email@example.com.
The school’s statement of case will provide an explanation of how the admission of an additional child would cause prejudice to the provision of efficient education or efficient use of resources. This should/could include:
· The Governor’s have consulted on their admission policy
· The school’s net capacity
· The impact on the school if another child were to be admitted
· Health and Safety implications
· No additional funding for an extra teacher
· No extra resources i.e. desks, chairs
Decisions of the appeal panel will be notified in writing to the appellant(s), admission authority and signed by the clerk or chair of the appeal panel as soon as possible but not later than Friday 23rd July 2021, unless there is good reason.
