External Events, Workshops & Support
At Barnhill we know that our parents/carers sometimes need advice on how they can support their child with Special Educational Needs, or any other concerns that they may have regarding their child’s development.
As a school we will always try our best to provide support and advice to our parents/carers, but we appreciate that there are more experienced and qualified professionals that you can access.
This is where we hope this page will help.
Keep checking this page regularly for updated information regarding events and workshops occurring within the local community, which you may find useful and beneficial for you and your child.

Winter 2024 HAF: Vulnerable Children & Young People
A reminder that referrals for the Winter 2024 HAF programme will close on Tuesday 24 December at 12 noon.
The HAF programme provides funded holiday provision, including healthy food and enriching activities, for children and young people in school years from reception to year 11 who reside in or attend school in the London Borough of Ealing and are in receipt of benefits-related free school meals (FSM), or who are vulnerable and would benefit from a HAF place. Please note that primary pupils receiving the universal free school meals offer are not eligible for the HAF programme.
The Winter 2024 HAF programme finishes running Friday 3 January 2025. We advise that you complete the application as soon as possible to be able to secure an eligibility code and HAF provider placement. Please note that vulnerable places should not be used for childcare.
Professionals who are working with families who are not in receipt of benefits-related free school meals, but whom they feel would benefit from attending HAF provision, will need to complete an online referral application form to apply for them to be able to access the winter HAF programme over the Christmas school holiday. Please complete a separate form for each child you are referring.
