Our Amazing Results

In recent years Sixth Form students have made incredible progress and achieved outstanding results. The Sixth Form class of 2022 has broken school records:

  • 55% of ‘A’ level grades were ‘B’ or higher
  • 30% were ‘A’ or higher
  • 10% ‘A*’

In our applied courses:

  • 87% achieved a Merit or higher
  • 54% Distinction or higher
  • 10% Distinction* or higher
  • 19 students achieved a mixture of 3 ‘A’ grades and 'A*' grades. 7 achieved 3 'A*' grades

88% of our 2022 Year 13 leavers’ are currently at university or on a gap year, with 1% attending Oxford or Cambridge, 21% attending a Russell Group university (the UK’s top 24 universities), a further 1% studying at American universities having achieved scholarships and 3% studying Medicine. This represents the enormous hard work that the students and staff at Barnhill have invested to help them secure such incredible results.
