Congratulations to the class of 2026

Barnhill is once again celebrating an outstanding set of A Level and Applied results, with student achievement placing the school among the top 20% nationally for progress.

This year, an impressive 61% of A Level grades were awarded at A*–B, with 87% achieving A*–C, continuing Barnhill’s strong record of performance significantly above national averages. Our Applied courses also delivered excellent outcomes, with 57% of students achieving Distinction or Distinction* grades.

Behind these results are the ambition, determination and hard work of our students, supported by the expertise and commitment of Barnhill staff. Their success is now translating into exceptional university and apprenticeship destinations.

From future medics, physicists and lawyers to students beginning exciting professional careers through apprenticeships, this year’s results demonstrate once again that Barnhill students are equipped to compete successfully for the very best opportunities.

The above students accumulated 20 A* grades and have been accepted into impressive universities on competitive courses.

Our students make fantastic progress!

  • In the latest 2025 external examination series we were the top performing mixed Sixth Form in Hillingdon and in the top 6% nationally for progress. This means Sixth Form students make more progress here than even most private schools and larger colleges.
  • We boast nearly 30% of our grades are A*-A, with 54% of grades A*-B, both significantly above National Average
  • In 2025, 100% of our Year 13 students went onto: Higher education (91%): Apprenticeship (8%) & Employment (1%) 
  • We are extremely proud of our post 18 pathway programme with over 35% of our students securing places at Russell Group Universities and over 2% moving onto study Medicine or Dentistry, a reflection of the ambition and commitment our staff, students and parents have to achieve success.
