Barnhill is so much more than just an academic Sixth Form, yet we continue to maintain results which in the last external examinations placed us as one of the top performing Sixth Form schools in Hillingdon. We have achieved 87% of grades at A*- C, with a superb 62% of grades achieved at A*-B, placing us in the top 25% of school nationally. Our achievements enable us to  compete against schools nationally and match the outcomes of many Independent Schools. In addition, we are a National Centre of Excellence for Maths and Science, with nearly half of our students studying a science or maths at A Level. 

With such phenomenal outcomes, our students are free to take advantage of the wider opportunities available to them locally, nationally and internationally. Our students have attended the most prestigious universities in the world, including Oxford, Cambridge, Kings, UCL, Imperial, Birmingham and Durham. We are extremely proud of securing some of the best destinations. We have over 35% of students securing places at Russell Group Universities, with all students having secured positions at university, apprenticeships or employment.

The Student Leadership Team led by the Head Students and the Sixth Form Prefects play a significant role in gathering student voice at the Student Council and providing school leaders with direction for school development. We focus keenly on ensuring that all Year 11 applicants to our Sixth Form receive the correct guidance to move on to the right subjects to achieve outstanding results.
