From 9–11 September, our students in year 8 enjoyed an action-packed residential at PGL Liddington.

Students challenged themselves with activities including abseiling, raft building and water activities, showing fantastic courage, resilience and teamwork. It was wonderful to see them encouraging one another, stepping outside their comfort zones and growing in confidence throughout the trip.

There were plenty of laughs, a few very wet students and some brilliant memories made — finished off with time together around the campfire.

A huge thank you to all the staff who gave their time (and sacrificed plenty of sleep!) to make the trip possible, and well done to our students for representing Barnhill brilliantly.

PGL 2026 – what a trip!
