Barnhill at Brighton

O they do like to be beside the seaside!

Thirty students from each year group in Years 7, 8 and 9 were rewarded with a Jack Petchey rewards trip to Brighton Pier and the beach in recognition of their positive attitude, excellent behaviour and contributions to school life.

Reward trips such as these are organised to celebrate students’ achievements, encourage continued effort and recognise those who consistently demonstrate the school’s values both in and out of the classroom.

Experiences beyond the classroom also help to enrich the curriculum by developing students’ cultural awareness, independence, communication skills and confidence through real-world experiences.

The weather held up well throughout the day, and the students behaved impeccably, making the trip an enjoyable and memorable experience for everyone involved.
