Dog Mentor Award

Milo received an award at the recent Dog Mentor conference in Birmingham.

This is such a fantastic achievement as there are over 900 dogs working in schools across the UK, and Milo was successful in the category for 'Impact in Action' in and around the school.

The Dog mentor programme has been implemented in over 700 schools; some schools have more than one dog working there, this makes it even more special that Milo has received this award.

Milo has received some extra treats for winning this award, and being such a wonderful presence around school with both the students and staff. Milo definitely makes a positive impact on students' emotional well being, learning, and behaviour.

Milo would like to thank everyone at Barnhill for welcoming him into the Barnhill Community.
