'A'mazing results!
Congratulations to the class of 2026
Barnhill is once again celebrating an outstanding set of A Level and Applied results, with student achievement placing the school among the top 20% nationally for progress.
This year, an impressive 61% of A Level grades were awarded at A*–B, with 87% achieving A*–C, continuing Barnhill’s strong record of performance significantly above national averages. Our Applied courses also delivered excellent outcomes, with 57% of students achieving Distinction or Distinction* grades.
Behind these results are the ambition, determination and hard work of our students, supported by the expertise and commitment of Barnhill staff. Their success is now translating into exceptional university and apprenticeship destinations.
From future medics, physicists and lawyers to students beginning exciting professional careers through apprenticeships, this year’s results demonstrate once again that Barnhill students are equipped to compete successfully for the very best opportunities.
