The school is celebrating another fantastic year of results for Year 11.
Our provisional scores for the Attainment 8 and Progress 8 measures again see us put firmly in the top category of schools where progress is well above average.
Barnhill High School are celebrating the best GCE A Level and vocational results including in the history of the school and we are extremely proud of our students.
These results are a real tribute to the hardwork and talent of students as well as the dedication of the staff who inspired and supported them throughout their courses. This exceptional success was replicated across a wide range of subjects.
Y9 Prince's Trust group have been having tennis lessons at Uxbridge Tennis Club over the last 6 weeks. They took part in activities against other Prince's Trust groups and won 1st Prize, Tickets to Wimbledon.
We started off with around 30 students and by the end we had 28 students celebrate their achievements in the final session from 7 Hillingdon Secondary schools.
On Friday 26 April Year 9 students learned of the harsh realities that come with choosing a life of crime. Throughout the day, students were rotated through a series of workshops where they heard about crimes from various perspectives.
As part of their studies, A-Level English students had an opportunity of developing their understanding of a key module on Gothic Literature by visiting Strawberry Hill House, the residence of Horace Walpole –the author of the first Gothic novel, The Castle of Otranto (1764).
Students will be participating in activities related to Safer Internet Day all week during AM registration.
