Class of 2034 visits Barnhill
Thursday 10th September was our Open Day when families of prospective Y7 students for September 2026 visited Barnhill Community High School to see what is on offer.
We welcomed over 500 visitors who were greeted by staff and students and escorted around on tours to see various 'lessons' and meet teachers, curriculum leads, support staff and students, learning about life at Barnhill.
Mr Jones, Headteacher, delivered a presentation summarising not only our students' achievements and curriculum offer but also the enrichment opportunities available to build cultural capital and aid personal development, as we are chosen for excellence, but known for care.
The atmosphere was electric and a fantastic evening. We hope all families that attended will share their feedback here.
Further dates to tour the school will be arranged in due course for those unable to attend our event.
