Summer of Sounds

Once again our music department supported our young musicians to take to the stage for our summer concert.  It takes great confidence and courage to step into the spotlight and all of our performers, including the hosts, entertained the audience with their talent.

There was a great atmosphere as each act took to the stage and were very warmly (literally!) received.

A range of music genres was performed, from classical and jazz to pop, punk and indie.  Definitely something for every musical taste!

Finally a thank you to Mr Taylor for relaunching our programme of concerts.  Ms Arnold, taking on the role of curriculum lead, added her own tribute to thank him for 'his passion, dedication and boundless energy which have shaped the music life of our school. From his teaching, to his performances, to quiet encouragement behind the scenes, Mr Taylor has left a legacy that will echo for years to come'.
