A is for Awesome

There was cause for great celebration at Barnhill as the class of 2025 collected their 'A' level results. 

Students were delighted to secure places at Cambridge and Russell Group universities as well as apprenticeships with high profile companies.

Particular recognition to our highest achievers of the year group:  Aryan, Heba, Salma, Joel, Palak, Safiah, Abdiqadir, Esrat, Ujeet, Aryan A, Vismayan, Faris, Serena, Madina and Maisha, who between them accumulated 16 'A*' and 28 'A' grades.

A special mention to:

• Ben: A*, A, A - off to Cambridge University to study History.

• Aryan:- A*, A*, A* - off to Imperial College London to study Physics. 

• Elsie:  A*, A*, B - off to Manchester University to study Medicine.

• Safia: A*, A*, A - taking a gap year. 

We also wanted to celebrate the success of a student who made a remarkable turnaround in Year 13:

• Habib:  A, A, B - off to Nottingham University to study Law. 

Heads of Sixth Form, Ms Kichenside and Ms Ahluwalia are extremely proud of the Year 13 cohort; their excellent destinations and their impressive results are testament to the hard work and effort of all of the students and staff over the last two years. A special thank you to all teachers, Curriculum Leaders and Sixth Form staff for helping students to achieve their goals and beyond.

Head teacher Mr Jones said; “it is always such a delight to see students and staff celebrate their hard work paying off. I wish all students the very best of luck with their future studies and careers, but for now it is a time to celebrate their achievements with their family and friends.”
