A is for Awesome

Sixth Form Results Day Highlights

Barnhill Community High School is celebrating its best-ever A Level results, with the Class of 2025 achieving record-breaking outcomes that place us firmly amongst the top-performing schools nationally.

With 58% of grades at A*–B and 87% at A*–C, Barnhill students have performed significantly above national averages. Success extended beyond traditional A Levels too, with students on our Applied courses also exceeding national performance.

These exceptional results have opened doors for our students to progress to the very best destinations — from Cambridge and Russell Group universities to prestigious apprenticeships with leading companies. Whether aspiring to be medics, physicists or lawyers, Barnhill students are proving that ambition and hard work lead to success on the most competitive pathways.

We would like to give particular recognition to our highest achievers:  Aryan, Heba, Salma, Joel, Palak, Safiah, Abdiqadir, Esrat, Ujeet, Aryan, Vismayan, Faris, Serena, Madina and Maisha, who between them accumulated an incredible 16 'A*' and 28 'A' grades.

Heads of Sixth Form, Ms Kichenside and Ms Ahluwalia, said:

“We are immensely proud of our Year 13 cohort. Their superb results and exciting destinations are a testament to their resilience and determination, as well as the dedication and expertise of our staff. These outcomes show that Barnhill is a place where students can truly thrive and achieve at the very highest levels. A huge thank you to all teachers, Curriculum Leaders and the Sixth Form team who have supported students to reach — and surpass — their goals.”
