Open Evening 2025
Families of Year 6 explore what's on offer at Barnhill
On 11th September, we opened our doors to our next cohort of Year 7s who will be making applications for secondary school to start in September 2026.
The atmosphere was buzzing as, throughout the evening, we welcomed around 800 visitors to view the school.
Our student tour guides did an exceptional job of escorting families around the site to view demo lessons, resources and facilities and share their own experience of what it's like to be a student at Barnhill.
Each of the three Headteacher presentations was packed out as Mr Jones delivered an overview of Barnhill's ethos and expectations and shared the stage with student speakers sharing their own perspective on life at Barnhill.
We received some fantastic feedback from parents following the event leaving us proud to be considered for the next step in their children's education:
