Goals galore for our girls and boys on the pitch & netball court
Football Focus
The year 10 football team have done so well this year and completed all 4 of their pool fixtures with 3 of these being away from home. Unfortunately we were on the wrong end of the result on 3 of these occasions but the boys shows great spirit and determination to be competitive and all 3 games were close.
We got a well deserved point against hewens in a hostile atmosphere where the students showcased their maturity and skill and deserved to win the game.
Lots of students have helped out last minute or replaced missing players so all round has been a positive year. All capped off by the boys having to push the mini bus out of the mud when Mr Clyne decided to turn round on the grass. Real life super heroes!
Mr C Clyne (PE Teacher & Curriculum Lead)
Our Year 8 boys have kept their momentum going after their 5–3 win, adding two more outstanding results. They beat Harlington 9–1 at home and matched the result with another 9–1 win away at Guru Nanak. The team played with respect, and strong teamwork, and their communication on the pitch continues to improve. Their progress each week is clear, and they should be proud of the standard they’re setting.
Two Year 7 players also stepped up to support the Year 8 team. Jordan took on the role of goalkeeper with confidence ๐งค, and Klaie in attack, scoring a hat-trick in his first match for year 8. โฝ
Our Year 7 team also celebrated success with a solid 5–3 home win over Hewens โฝ. Although the group is still getting used to playing together, they are already achieving positive results. ๐ค
Well done to both teams!
โฝ๐ง๏ธ Year 7 & 8 Girls Triumph at QPR Tournament! ๐ง๏ธโฝ
On the 14th of November, our Year 7 and 8 girls’ football team had the incredible opportunity to take part in the EFL Girls Cup National Football Tournament Qualifier, hosted by QPR.
Despite 100% rain all day, the girls’ spirits never dropped—they played with energy, determination and huge smiles! Although we didn’t make it through to the main qualifier, the team didn’t give up. Instead, they bounced back brilliantly and went on to WIN the Plate Competition! ๐
Their hard work, togetherness and enjoyment of the game helped them comeback. Congratulations to everyone who took part! ๐โฝ

Netting a great result
The Year 7 and 8 girls have shown tremendous effort this term, both at netball club and during their fixtures. Their dedication, resilience, and determination have been evident in every game, and their teamwork has continued to strengthen week by week. They have approached each challenge with positivity, and a willingness to improve.
What has been particularly impressive is the way the girls support each other on and off the court—celebrating successes, encouraging one another after tough moments, and demonstrating outstanding sportsmanship throughout the season.
Many players have stepped into new positions with confidence, showing versatility and a growing understanding of the game. Their enthusiasm at training has created a fantastic atmosphere, and their hard work has clearly translated into improved skill, communication, and overall performance. I could not be prouder of the girls and the progress they have made—both as athletes and as a team. Their energy and determination make them a pleasure to coach.
I would like to give a special shout out to the players below for their performances during games and training
