The Results are in!
The Barnhill school community has achieved another year of superb examination results.
Students and their families are celebrating tremendous achievement at all levels.
37% of students in mathematics and 34% in English secured grades 7, 8 or 9.
67% of students achieved the national benchmark of Grade 5 or higher in English and maths. This is more than 20% above the national average.
Headteacher Mr Jones said, “This is another year for our school community to be very proud of its achievements. The students work so very hard and thoroughly deserve their success. This could not be achieved without the dedication and care of the staff, who have once again gone the extra mile to make it possible. I would like to extend my congratulations to the student and their families and my ongoing thanks to the school staff.”
While we celebrate all achievement at the school, it is well worth recognising the superb achievement made by the following:
Mateusz achieved seven grade 9s and two grade 8s and he will return to the Barnhill Sixth form to study Maths, Further Maths and Physics
Risali achieved seven grade 9s and one grade 8
Veer achieved six grade 9s, two grade 8s and a grade 7 and he will be studying Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths and Physics at the Barnhill Sixth Form.
Jenovia achieved six grade 9s, two grade 8s and a grade 7 and she will be studying Computer Science, Maths, Further Maths and Physics at the Barnhill Sixth Form.
Kirpa achieved five grade 9s and four grade 8s and she will be studying Art, Biology and Maths at the Barnhill Sixth Form.
Nafeesa achieved six grade 9s, one grade 8 and a grade 7 and she will be studying Biology, Chemistry and Maths at the Barnhill Sixth Form.
Devan achieved five grade 9s, one grade 8 and two grade 7s and he will be studying Computer Science, Maths, Further Maths and Physics at the Barnhill Sixth Form.
Simra achieved two grade 9s, five grade 8s and two grade 7s and she will be studying English Literature, Economics and Psychology at the Barnhill Sixth Form.
Nikita achieved five grade 9s, one grade 8 and one grade 7 and she will be studying Economics, Maths and Psychology at the Barnhill Sixth Form.
Yasira achieved two grade 9s three grade 8s and four grade 7s and she will be studying Biology, Chemistry, Economics and Maths at the Barnhill Sixth Form.
